So lets recap the events both good and bad that happened.
1. Went to Baltimore (weee!) it was both a good and terrible experience, I loved the fish..but there were too many people that my slightly agoraphobic nature was brutalized. The best part was the photos I was able to take.

2. Went to Lake Tobias...Finally got see a Capybarra! It was a good day, too many noisy kids but for the most part I was able to find quite places to hide and admire the animals

3. Joe and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary of being together (yay!) Absolutely no complaints there

4. Mom becomes very sick with female issues...has to have surgery...but still she is too sick to work for god only knows how long. So I am very worried for her for various reasons
5. August has been a ghastly month for sales (of all the times!) it figures, when I need money there is none coming in
6. Allergy season starts...along with the migraines that drive me to quite dark places....so working is nearly impossible at times for me...grrr...I just want to make jewelry! Luckily I have so many pieces that if I am unable to create I can still list and not fall totally behind
7. My stomach has been quite up until a few days ago...I think it is jealous that mom's uterus is getting all the attention so now it has to violently rebel!
I am so glad that it will soon be fall....and then winter! I cannot say enough how much I long for the clean frozen bliss of winter. There are times that I truly wish that I lived in a world of Ice and Snow. I will start the new month with a positive outlook ^_^

lol! i was on the phone with my boyfriend while reading this post and was like, "wait..there are only 30 days in august???" to which he replied there are 31. i thought i'd lost it. close enough though. ;-)
the sea life photo is beautiful.
happy anniversary. :-) you two look right together. + he's got nice hair.
1. I think it's also a touch of xenophobia. Normal people scare me too.
2. You suck. At least there's a park here I can retreat to whenever I get antsy.
3. Congrats! I don't think you ever told me how you and Joe met...?
4. Your mom will be okay, she's a tough cookie. All I can say about the finances is, her roommate *better* be pulling his weight.
5. Same here. I feel for you.
6. Strangely enough, I haven't had a single bout with allergies since I started smoking. (Not that I'm suggesting it as a remedy, mind you.)
7. Time to switch to baby food. ;)
8. Fall - yayyy! Winter - blech. But then you don't have to walk half a mile to the store in the snow... Ice princess. :)
a capybarra. cute!
i'll, of course, have to google a capybarra to find out exactly what it is...
:)
I love the park over by mom's thats where all my goose pictures come from...have you seen the egrets yet?
The roommate is pulling his weight ^_^ his college loan money will take care of rent and he is trying to find a PT job that wont compromise his financial aide
and as for the baby food...well..I like the fruits and cereals but the 'real food' *gags*
der....and how Joe and I met...at work romance! We worked together at walmart, it used to be so much fun sneaking off to the back room to play kissy face where the cameras couldnt find us ^_^
Yup, your mom told me that's where the Dryad pic is from. The couple times I was there I've only seen one lone egret that likes to hang out on the far side of the dam. I just wish I lived in that big weeping willow...
Re: $$$ - Whew, that's good to hear.
Oh, duh! You did tell me you & Joe worked at Walmart together. Btw, don't tell your mom I said this, but underneath all the piercings and tats, Zach looks a LOT like me at his age. ;)
I met Charity (my girlfriend before Angel) at work. Got us both into loads of trouble. :)
