First off, that isnt my spider...it came from http://stripe.colorado.edu/~mitton/Thyme.htm...I just think its beautiful.
Spiders...I love them, but sometimes they really are a pain! I made an agreement as a child with the spider population...(no idea if they know about the agreement, but lets hope so) here is the agreement...Nice polite spiders are allowed to live in my house without fear of persecution as long as they respect the following rules
- no biting
- eat any unwanted bugs that venture in on my plants...except moths, butterflies and certain species of beetles
- stay out of my hair! literally
So here is my beef....I have a bazillion tiny house spiders in every corner of my house...some of them are not that tiny and well..you can guess where the tiny ones came from -_- I feel like I am a refugee camp for spiders! I don't mind a few but they are everywhere and I cant remove them because it would be a violation...plus spiders are goodluck and border on being sacred. *sigh*

Just think: More spiders means less other creepy crawlies. That picture is pretty. Never thought I would say that about a spider.
Weird... I have the same problem. I accidentally brought an egg case with me, stuck to one of the air conditioners.
Nothing to do with spiders, but this is the coolest mantis I've ever seen:

As for spiders, they have the whole world to live in so I tell them they must stay outdoors, other wise I catch them in a jar and take them safely to the big world outdoors. This has worked for me. I did it with a few ants in the kitchen and I have not had ANY ants in the kitchen for 4 years since! Gotta live in harmony with the little guys.
