Injustice

I am extremely annoyed, not just angry, but the cold fury that makes me *almost* want to start seeking vengeance...the only time that this ever occurs is if I feel an injustice has been done to be or mine. So what is this injustice that has gotten me in this state, my gem blog. After several request from my fellow etsians, I started a Team and a blog covering gemstones. Each post takes one to four hours of research to adequately represent the stones and fake stones that are commonly sold or used. This is my way of educating people, my gift of knowledge to those seeking it.
Now here is the injustice, in the etsy forums I post a short introduction and a link to my blog, I even put a nice little disclaimer:

I am not promoting anything, this blog is my way of spreading knowledge of gemstones, a common material used here on Etsy. The blog is not attached to my store. The only way I can properly write about the gemstones and include Identification aiding pictures is by using the blog, this also allows all the previous entries to be cataloged. So please don't put this in promos!

so what happened, it got moved to promos with a nice little note from admin saying that it is where it belongs. If I was promoting something that would be fine, but I am not. I find this extremely unfair since the only thing I am promoting is the proper identification of gemstones. I am not doing this for me, it has not brought me any sales or anything that a promotion would normally do.

So that is it, the 'man' has won through injustice once again, I will continue writing my blog on gems, but no longer will I put it in the forums, hopefully my readers and other people who want knowledge will find it, but I will no longer be "promoting" my blog.
